An article by Lindsay Kelly, published in SooToday.com and Sudbury.com, highlights findings from the ‘Opioid-related Harms Among Ontario Workers‘ study. This study is led by Dr. Nancy Carnide (Institute for Work & Health) and Dr. Jeavana Sritharan (OCRC). It uses the Occupational Disease Surveillance System (ODSS) to investigate opioid-related harms (poisonings, mental and behavioural disorders, and adverse drug effects) among a group of previously injured Ontario workers.
