Assessing new methods for measuring occupational exposure to flame retardants

In progress. The goal of this study is to explore two new methods for measuring occupational exposure to flame retardants.

Estimating external chemical exposures and disease pathways from biomonitoring data

In progress. This study uses mechanistic modeling and “omics” tools to estimate external chemical exposures and disease pathways using biomonitoring data from the US National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES).

Cancer, Cardiovascular Disease, and Non-Malignant Respiratory Disease in Sudbury Nickel Refinery and Electrowinning Workers

In progress. This study will examine cancer, cardiovascular disease and respiratory disease incidence in a cohort of Ontario nickel workers.

How can we better protect paramedics from COVID-19?

Our new study will examine COVID-19 occupational risks, infection and vaccination among paramedics in Ontario and BC, and investigate how long antibodies last.
