The OCRC is a unique partnership that unites health, workplace safety, labour, and industry groups. We are jointly funded by Cancer Care Ontario, the Ontario Ministry of Labour and the Canadian Cancer Society, Ontario Division, and developed in collaboration with the United Steelworkers.
In addition, the OCRC holds grants from organizations such as the Canadian Cancer Society Research Institute, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, the Canadian Institutes for Health Research, and the International Development Research Corporation.
Cancer Care Ontario
Cancer Care Ontario is the provincial agency responsible for continually improving cancer services. As the government’s cancer advisor, Cancer Care Ontario works to reduce the number of people diagnosed with cancer, and make sure patients receive better care every step of the way.
Ontario Ministry of Labour
The Ministry of Labour advances safe, fair workplace practices, focusing on the areas of occupational health and safety, employment rights and responsibilities, and labour relations.
Canadian Cancer Society, Ontario Division
The Canadian Cancer Society is a national, community-based organization of volunteers whose mission is the eradication of cancer and the enhancement of the quality of life of people living with cancer.
