The OCRC is a unique partnership that unites health, workplace safety, labour, and industry groups. We are jointly funded by Ontario Health (Cancer Care Ontario), the Ontario Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development, and the Canadian Cancer Society, and developed in collaboration with the United Steelworkers.
In addition, the OCRC holds grants from organizations such as the Canadian Cancer Society Research Institute, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, the Canadian Institutes for Health Research, and the International Development Research Corporation.
Ontario Health (Cancer Care Ontario)
Ontario Health is the government agency responsible for delivering high-quality care and services to all Ontarians. As part of Ontario Health, Cancer Care Ontario advises the province on cancer and renal systems, and access to care.
Ontario Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development
The Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development advances safe, fair workplace practices, focusing on the areas of occupational health and safety, employment rights and responsibilities, labour relations, and training and employment services.
Canadian Cancer Society
The Canadian Cancer Society is a national, community-based organization of volunteers whose mission is the eradication of cancer and the enhancement of the quality of life of people living with cancer.
United Steelworkers
