Shade Bootcamp

Shade Bootcamp is a workshop to explore shade solutions for sun exposure in public spaces, including workplaces. The event is taking place on May 1, 2018 from 8am to 5pm at Ryerson University in Toronto. Shade Bootcamp will feature hands-on training to identify and create opportunities for shade in public places. It is open to workers and members of the public who are concerned with sun exposure and cancer prevention. 

The event is organized by Professor George Kapelos of Ryerson University, and sponsored by the Toronto Cancer Prevention Coalition, Toronto Public Health, and Ryerson University Department of Architectural Science.
