A collection of more than 30,000 toenail clippings from Atlantic Canadians is being conducted by the researchers to determine whether there is a correlation between exposure to toxic metals and prostate cancer. The research is led by Anil Adisesh of Dalhousie Medicine New Brunswick and Dr. Trevor Dummer of the University of British Columbia.
