The Ministry of Labour was established to develop and enforce labour legislation. Its mandate is to set, communicate and enforce workplace standards across the key areas of occupational health and safety, employment rights and responsibilities, and labour relations. The Occupational Cancer Research Centre is partially funded by the Ontario Ministry of Labour.
