The Institut de recherche Robert-Sauvé en santé et en sécurité du travail (IRSST) has published a report that documents the exposure of Québec workers to carcinogenic substances or conditions. The report estimates which substances the greatest number of workers are exposed, the industries where exposure is likely to occur, and the levels of exposure. This type of data can help establish priorities for research and prevention activities, and help target interventions where they will have the greatest impact on workers’ health.
