Sinonasal cancers in Ontario reflect smoking and occupational exposures

Sinonasal cancers are rare cancers of the nasal cavities and surrounding sinuses. Risk factors include smoking, alcohol consumption, eating smoked foods, and occupational exposures such as wood dust, leather dust, and nickel and chromium fumes. The OCRC has prepared an Ontario Cancer Fact on sinonasal cancer rates and risk factors.
