Linda Kachuri

Research Associate

Linda completed her MPH degree in Epidemiology at the University of Toronto in 2012. She first became interested in cancer epidemiology while working on a surveillance project, the aim of which was to characterize incidence and mortality trends in Canada from 1970 to 2007 for 13 different cancer types. Linda decided to continue pursuing her interest in cancer epidemiology at OCRC, where her project focused on examining the risk of multiple myeloma from exposure to multiple pesticides and specific pesticide using data from the Cross-Canada Study of Pesticides and Health. Currently, Linda is working on investigating cancer incidence in agricultural workers using the 1991-2006 Canadian census mortality and cancer cohort.
