An overview of results from the Cross-Canada Study of Pesticides and Health and current state of the North American Pooled Project

Dr. Shelley Harris gave a presentation on October 18, 2013, on the Cross-Canada Study of Pesticides and Health (CCSPH) and the current state of the North American Pooled Project (NAPP). The presentation was part of a seminar series in the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine at the State University of New York – Buffalo. The OCRC has used the CCSPH, a case-control study conducted among Canadian men in six provinces in the early 1990s, to examine associations between pesticides and pesticide combinations on the risk of different types of cancers. The NAPP is an extension of this project, in which CCSPH data has been pooled with similar case-control data from the United States.
