The OCRC and the Institute for Work & Health hosted a symposium about workplace practices to mitigate the health effects of shiftwork on November 6, 2012. The goal of this symposium was to extend previous discussions of injuries and illness related to shiftwork, to promising interventions for prevention. Dr. Paul Demers gave a synopsis of the symposium as part of the St. Michael’s Hospital occupational medicine rounds.
